Szeged's 5-year Pharmacy program is a comprehensive blend of theory, practical knowledge, and skills training. It's designed to give you a strong start in your pharmacy career.
- 1st year: The first year covers the basics: Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Cell Biology, Genetics, Chemical Analysis, Biostatistics, and Physics-Biophysics. Plus, you'll start learning English and Latin.
- 2nd year: Year two ramps up with Organic Chemistry, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Botany, Public Health, and History of Pharmacy.
- Year 3: By year three, you'll dive into specialized areas such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Ethics in Pharmacy. You'll also study Dietetics, Complementary Medicine, and learn how to communicate in the pharmaceutical field.
- Year 4: Year four focuses on professional aspects. You'll learn Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacodynamics, Medical Aids, Drug Regulatory Affairs, and take part in a Professional Internship. You'll also learn First Aid and Nursing, and explore Biotechnology, Phytotherapy, and Clinical Pharmacy.
- Year 5: Finally, in your last year, you'll practice Clinical Pharmacy, undergo a Pharmacy Internship, and prepare for your Diploma Work. You'll also study Veterinary Pharmacy, Clinical Drug Therapy, and choose from a variety of Elective Courses.

Applications close on July 07, 2023 (23:59 CET), and the one-time combined application and evaluation fee of €300 gives you the chance to apply to a maximum of three health science programs.
