Admissions overview
Candidates for Veterinary Medicine in English at SGGW must pass an exam of special aptitude, called ESA. For recruitments starting from 25 November 2025, the ESA lasts 130 minutes and has two parts: Part A is a 50-question competency test made of 25 general science questions and 25 logical-thinking questions, with 26 points needed to pass; Part B is a 50-question English test at minimum B2 level, also with 26 points needed to pass. For candidates educated outside the Polish system, excluding IB and EB diploma holders, the SGGW faculty page lists a winter-semester 2026/2027 intake with 10 places in Phase 1. Registration ran from 25 to 28 November 2025, the SGGW on-campus ESA date was 12 December 2025, results were due on 19 December 2025, document delivery was 12-15 January 2026 and classes start on 1 October 2026. SGGW also notes that the external IMS recruiter organises other exam dates. For Polish maturity, IB and EB diploma holders, SGGW's 2026/2027 recruitment calendar lists Veterinary Medicine in English in the main phase: registration from 28 May to 9 July 2026, qualification results on 22 July 2026 and first document delivery from 23 to 31 July 2026.
