Admissions overview

For the 2026/2027 winter semester, SUM lists online registration from 1 April to 15 August 2026, document submission deadline on 21 August 2026 and entrance exams from 25 May to 4 September 2026. Medicine also has a summer-semester intake for the International Program, with online registration from 12 October to 30 December 2026 and entrance exams from 23 November to 22 December 2026. Biology is mandatory, and the second subject is Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. The exam is conducted remotely via MS Teams and each candidate can take it once in a single admission process. For Pharmacy, SUM states that candidates may be required to take an oral entrance exam in English if the school-leaving certificate does not include the required subjects or comes from a system not listed in the terms. The exam checks Polish high-school level Biology or Chemistry as a mandatory subject plus one subject from Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics, and is conducted remotely via MS Teams.
