Slovakia Medical University Entrance Exam 🇸🇰
Slovakia is one of the clearest Biology-and-Chemistry exam countries in the Medimentor list. If you apply for Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine in English, you should expect a serious subject test.
The subjects repeat, but the format does not. UPJŠ, Comenius Bratislava, Jessenius, SMU and UVLF use different question counts, exam dates, platforms and scoring rules.

What changes between universities?
UPJŠ and Comenius
These exams use 200 total Biology/Chemistry questions. You need knowledge, speed and enough stamina to stay accurate.
Comenius, Jessenius, UVLF
Online exams need calm timing, stable setup and practice with timed answers. Do not treat them like casual quizzes.
SMU Bratislava
SMU lists only 15 planned Medicine places for 2026/27, so the Biology/Chemistry score matters a lot.
How to prepare without guessing
Biology first
Review cell biology, genetics, human biology, physiology, plant biology basics and the official faculty topic lists.
Chemistry every week
Build general, inorganic and organic chemistry foundations. Practise equations, reactions and basic calculations.
Timed practice
Several Slovak exams are question-heavy. Practise under time pressure before the official exam window.
Documents matter
Do not lose the exam date because forms, translations, fees or certificates were submitted late.
Pick the university first
Slovakia is not one single exam. Choose your target faculties, then match the prep plan to their exact question count, exam date and official materials.
Respect the exam window
Comenius and Jessenius publish March, June and August exam dates. UPJŠ lists June and August. UVLF starts earlier in April. Plan backwards from the date you want.
