Medical University of Gdańsk is the main public medical university in northern Poland. Its English offer includes six-year Medicine, a 5.5-year Master of Pharmacy and a one-year Premedical Course.

For Fall 2026, MUG Medicine registration opens on 18 March 2026 and the application deadline is 15 July 2026. Candidates need Biology plus one subject from Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics at advanced level. Most international candidates are ranked using school grades, an online Biology and Chemistry entrance exam and a Zoom interview that checks English, motivation, fit for medicine and selected subject knowledge. For Fall 2026, MUG Pharmacy registration opens on 18 March 2026 and the application deadline is 31 July 2026. Candidates need two advanced subjects: either Chemistry plus Biology, Physics or Mathematics, or Biology plus Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. Selection combines school-grade points and an online interview. MUG's 1-year Premedical Course runs from the beginning of October 2026 to mid-June 2027. Applications open on 25 March 2026 and close on 31 August 2026. Selection is based on high-school results in Biology and one selected subject from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or relevant subjects, plus English-language proof.

MUG Gdańsk entrance exam
The Medicine written exam is an online MCQ test in Biology and Chemistry. MUG estimates about 2 hours total for registration, instructions and 90 minutes of question time. The interview is online via Zoom and takes about 20 minutes per candidate. MUG Admissions Office lists 2026 online exam dates from 14 May to 30 July, with some dates connected to official recruitment partners. MUG Pharmacy gives up to 60 points for certificate results and up to 40 points for the interview. The interview requires at least 24 points overall, including at least 18 points from Chemistry and Biology questions and at least 6 points from soft skills and motivation. It is conducted online via MS Teams and is estimated at 20 minutes per candidate. The Premedical Course is selected through documents, high-school science results and English proof, not the same Medicine entrance exam.

MUG student hostels are on the Student Campus at Dębowa 5, 11 and 13, around 300 m from university buildings and about 1.5 km from Gdańsk railway station. The campus includes four dormitories, student club Medyk, a canteen and the Sports Center. MUG lists a double-room hostel fee of 1,358 PLN per month, or 679 PLN per person, from October to June.
