Admissions overview

UPWr's Veterinary Medicine in English admission process has two main parts: evaluation of secondary-school Biology and Chemistry results plus English-language skills, followed by an online interview with faculty staff. The interview checks scientific English, Biology, Chemistry, motivation and fit for veterinary studies. For applicants who did not take Polish matura exams, UPWr says the result depends on three criteria: Biology and Chemistry subject results worth up to 200 points, an online interview worth up to 100 points, and proof of English at B2 level. Candidates need at least 60/200 points from the Biology-Chemistry subject part and at least 60/100 points from the interview. The interview is usually about 20-25 minutes and uses secondary-school Biology and Chemistry, not specialist veterinary knowledge. UPWr's recruitment site says Veterinary Medicine in English usually starts admissions earlier than other summer-intake programs, normally around March, and classes start in October.
